What is the purpose of this web site and blog?
Why do I do this?
The primary purpose of this web site is to provide useful, practical information to people who currently own a small business, and also to provide inspiration and encouragement to these business owners as they face the daily struggles and challenges that are part of building and running a business. The uniqueness of this site is that the content will come from people who are actually doing business. These are the stories and comments from people who are in the trenches every day. As I review books and other web sites and blogs, I am amazed at the amount of material out there that is written about business by people who have never been in business for themselves. There are some things that simply cannot be learned unless you have "been there and done that". This site is not for or from a consultant looking from the outside in. Rather, this site is from people doing business every day - from the inside out.
